The 2009 Dirty Fingers Camp Out and Ride!

Dirty Fingers Bicycle Repair, "Just a little camp trip to let all you suckers know how much we appreciate taking your money."

Last year Michtell thought we should end the summer riding season with a group camping trip that combined a bunch of rad people, a keg of beer, some grillin and a ride in some of the most beautiful scenery in the northwest. So as September came around again this year there was no apparent reason not to do it all over again.

Post n' Pint - Weekly Hood River Shop Ride

Every Thursday at 5:30 mtb riders of all types converge on Dirty Fingers Bicycle Repair for the weekly "Post n' Pint" shop ride. The ride begins at the shop and rolls out from there for a short section of riding on the roads prior to getting to the dirt. From there it follows the Mitchell Ridge xc loop on Post Canyon, that takes riders up through the Family Man stunt area and is packed with some of the fastest flowing single track in the area.

After the ride all are welcome to head back to the shop for a post ride Pint. Check out the photos below from typical Pint portion of Post n' Pint.

Hood River Super D Race, Results, Photos and Video

Last weekend, June 27th, the Hood River Super D was held on Post Canyon. The event was put on by Breakaway Events and it was awesome! The course was dry and dusty but fun and presented racers with a challenging 17 minutes for the pros and averaged about 20 plus for the rest. Dirty Fingers Bikes had several racers who did very well. Ty Horton shown below took a first, on his brand new Transition Covert, in the expert category. Malcolm McCurdy, Transition grassroots rider and Dirty Fingers Grom worked his way into a first for Jr. expert and Andrew Deenik took a second in the masters. Check out the results here.

Kevin Tokstad also put together and awesome video. Check it out below.
